So good! I stopped by today for the first time. The service was friendly and welcoming; the crispy fish taco was better than advertised—such a deal for only 3.50! I can't wait to go back. Just stopped by again. Those fish tacos were calling my name:) I can't wait to try all their other great food.

We made the walk after sunset from Sunset Cliffs, and I was so pleasantly surprised to stumble on Johnny Manana's! While everything was good, the standouts were the crispy fish taco (such a bargain!) and the Mexican candy margarita. Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood!

Some of the best fish tacos l've ever had. Was recommended this spot by a friend, who told me to go here because of their fish tacos. We each got 1 fish taco and they were amazing! I got the surf n turf taco which the shrimp was spicy. We shared the Cali burrito which was yummy and delicious. Their guac tasted so good, probably some of the best guac I ever had. Looked and tasted fresh! We got some brews, they have beer on tap and bottles and cans! We finished off a to go order of pollo asado nachos and they were huge! We took them home and they were still yummy! Definitely coming back here!

Been here many times and the original up in Oceanside and never a disappointment. Love this place and just couldn't resist coming Monday Margarita and Tuesday tacos but fish tacos are always 3.50 and always delicious. In OB they have their own hot sauce. Definitely recommended to come have some delicious tacos

Got my fish taco fish here! Everything was well seasoned, flavorful. It all was a little spicy for me, but I know I’m weak sometimes when it comes to fire!

The winner is - Johnny Mananas for our weekend SD Memorial Day weekend trip which included 6 highly rated fish tacos joints between SD and Oceanside. From the tortillas, slaw, fish quality, salsa, atmosphere, and beverages. All it lacks is a Denver location.

How have I never discovered this place before an OB! Their beer taco is sensational. That’s an understatement. The taco Thursday is incredible for three dollars. We had El Pastore tacos. Their sauces are incredible which normally a lot of Mexican places are lacking due to the lack of flavor. This one has some really good sauce options. There’s one in a creamy sauce, which is extremely hot and I like heat, but it was really intense. Take it for me. You’re gonna want to check this place out!!

Best surf and turf taco ever (perfect-level greasy, cheesy, amazing quality protein), and I'm a spice wimp but everything was spiced perfectly - felt the heat but it was all flavor. Our experience with staff was also excellent. Eat here!
